Summerveld Equine Hospital is situated on 80 acres in the picturesque area of Summerveld, the hub of Kwazulu-Natal Racing, where we have been serving our clients and their horses with the best veterinary care since 1969.
The hospital offers a 24 hour emergency service and has in-house patient facilities for 20 horses.

SHARK ATTACK - Sally Ann's foal, born on 9th December 2008 at the Summerveld Equine Hospital has been renamed SHARK ATTACK. He is partly owned by the SHARKS RUGBY TEAM and was aptly named by KEEGAN DANIEL.
He has grown into a beautiful colt and will soon be going into training with BART RICE at the Ashburton training centre. A very successful fund raising evening was held in July 2010 at Sibaya in aid of the NICHOLAS REY FOUNDATION TRUST run by Ricky Smit. Shares of the horse were sold and the proceeds from the Sibaya fund raising evening and the sale of SHARK ATTACK will go to the Nicholas Rey Foundation Trust. Summerveld Equine Hospital is proud to be a supporter of this worthy cause.
