Dr Tom Ovendale joined our practice in January 2010 and he is pleased to have returned to KZN. He recently completed his BVSc degree at Onderstepoort. Tom enjoys cycling and fishing. Tom will be assiting the vets at both Summerveld and Gillitts veterinary Hospitals. |

Chantal Robinson is our veterinary nurse. She graduated from Ondertepoort in 1996 and has many years of nursing experience. Her dediciation and professionalism is a huge asset to our team. Chantal has worked in England, and with the Howick and Westville veterinary hospitals. She takes a special interest in veterinary dentistry and surgery. Other interests inlcude canoeing and reading. Chantal has 2 young children. |

Dr Lauren Brewis recently joined the practice in January 2009. She hails from Cape Town and has a BSc Agric degree which she obtained in 2001. In 2008 she qualified as a veterinarian from Onderstepoort gaining her BVSc degree and has been part of our team since then assisting with both equine and small animal work. Laurens special interests are running and horse riding and has competed in numerous half marathons. In July 2010 Lauren completed her first Comrades Marathon. |
Dr Nic Stirk qualified from Onderstepoort in 2007. He is from Hillcrest and has worked for a year in a 24 hour Emergency Hospital in Cape Town after qualifying. Thereafter he has been in general small animal practice, including a year in the UK. Nic really enjoys photography, is a PADI Divemaster so whenever he can scuba dive, he does and he loves it!
